Cathy provides full-range IP protection services to clients. Her professional focuses mainly include full-course legal services in trademark registration procedure, handling disputed matters in relation to trademark infringements, unfair completion and anti-counterfeiting through civil, administrative and criminal law enforcement and supporting business negotiations from legal points.
Cathy has handled large amounts of trademark cases including trademark clearance search, trademark review, and opposition, administrative litigation involving TMO and TRAB decisions. Cathy is experienced in communicating and cooperating with law enforcement authorities including the Customs, AIC (Administration for Industry and Commerce) and the PSB (Public Security Bureau) for initiation of law enforcement actions against infringers and counterfeiters. Many clients, thanks to Cathy, have seen administrative and criminal penalties imposed on the infringers and counterfeiters which have effectively deterred misconducts in the market. Cathy also represents clients in civil litigations dealing with disputes related to trademark infringements and unfair competition.
Cathy has also been invited by clients to join business negotiations and to provide legal support as she has helped clients dealing with disputes related to contracts, trademark infringement, and unfair completion etc. through peaceful negotiations.
