2020-2021 HFL Top cases for IP Protection from QBPC and National Courts

Recently the best practices on IPRs protection were announced in China nationwide.

As World IPR Day is approaching on April 26th, various PRC governmental authorities and courts have announced typical cases within their jurisdictions. Representing our clients, several of our cases have been awarded influential recognition by peers and authorities.

• Top 50 Cases by the Supreme People’s Court. Two cases handled by our team have been selected by SPC as their  Top 50 Cases nationwide.
• Top 10 Cases by Guangdong High People’s Court. One of the top 10 cases was represented by our team for Hennessy to seek successfully copyright protection.
• Top 10 Cases by Jiangsu High People’s Court. Two of the top 10 cases were from our practices, and they were about Treasury Wine Estates and 3M, respectively.
• Top 10 Cases in “IP protection” and “The model cases Bridging Administrative and Judicial IP enforcement” by the Quality Brands Protection Committee (www.qbpc.org.cn), or QBPC. We had four cases awarded in these categories, and one of these cases was also selected as the typical criminal case in the Oil & Energy industry by Guangzhou Municipal Government.
