Tiger Zhao

Ms. Tiger Zhao has been practicing intellectual property law in China for nearly 20 years. After one year’s service at the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, she joined Jun He Law firm in 1998 and later joined Rouse in 2000 when she decided to dedicate her career life to IP. In 2003, Ms. Zhao became a founding member of HongFangLaw firm and, with other partners, continued her legal practice in IP.

Ms. Zhao’s comprehensive practices in IP law include; filing and prosecution to enforcement, strategy buildup, dispute resolution, ?negotiation settlement, civil proceedings, and criminal prosecution. Ms. Zhao is also active in legislation comments and has commented in the Customs border protection regulation, the civil proceeding code, and the trademark law. Her comments were quoted by China Business Law Journal. She also speaks and writes at Asian Legal Business.

Ms. Zhao has been providing services to international right holders of multiple industries, including; industrial, retail, hospitality, fashion, licensing, Medicare, gardening, etc. She has the capability of seeing on top of the IP field and thinking based on the client’s specific business needs. By full devotion, she earns a high reputation amongst her clients, Ms. Zhao is a Legal 500 recommended lawyer.

In her private life, Ms. Zhao likes history and philosophy. As a personal interest, she has been studying the philosophy of Chinese medicine since childhood. Ms. Zhao also cares about the welfare of children in remote areas and she has been an activist for their struggles for a long time.
